Chief Thunder Hawk
(1810s-1870)
Warriors Citation

Thunder Hawk was an ally of Crazy Horse in several important battles during the Plains Indian wars. One of them was the so-called “Fetterman” fight, in which Captain William Fetterman claimed he could ride through territory occupied by the Sioux, Cheyennes, and allied peoples with eighty men.
